I apologize to everyone that’s been waiting on the update and wanted to explain what’s been happening…
Ugh… SOOOOO… What’s been going on?
Well. RIGHT AFTER XMAS. The rather large hard driver I had everything on to make the VN … Well… It died… Horribly… The controller card crapped out.. No warning, no signs, nothing… And not only that, but it also corrupted a BUNCH of data on the drive… After an exhaustive process I got about 80% of the stuff off the drive, but lost some components. So I’ve been dealing with that for the last whatever it’s been since it happened.
If you’re on the discord server, you’ve already seen/heard about this, but I know a lot of people aren’t joined on the server so I wanted to explain my silence. Yeah, I can/am/have been redownloading EVERYTHING I’ve used for it, but there is a lot of custom stuff as well, and I’m not sure how that’s managed to come across just yet. I’m trying to make sure I have all the stuff to properly render the characters, and I know at least ONE that I am going to try like hell to redesign (as she’s a main character) (Out of all of them WHY a main character… <sigh>) But if I can get all the main characters back and “normal” then I’ll be working on this VN again. If I can’t then I’ll probably do a different project, but wanted to be upfront with you all about what’s going on. I’ll keep ya informed, and should have more information by the end of the weekend.
